4 cups rolled oats
1 cup dried cranberries

1/2 cup chopped walnuts
1/2 cup toasted wheat germ
1/2 cup honey
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp almond extract
In a large baking pan toast the oats in a 350 degree oven, stirring every 3 mins, about 9-10 minutes until golden.
In the microwave or a small saucepan, heat the honey just until it liquifies. Pour into a mixing bowl & stir in the cinnamon & almond extract.
When the oats are toasted, add to honey mixture. Stir & coat well.
Spread the mixture into the baking pan again & return to the oven for 5 to 6 more minutes, stir twice, until just browning. Allow the oat mixture to cool then stir in wheat germ & cranberries.
Serving Suggestion: Serve Cool.

Serves 12. 1/4 cup per serving.
