2 cups low-salt chicken broth
1 cup water
1 cup frozen chopped collard greens
1 cup canned pinto beans, drained
1 15-ounce can no-salt Italian spiced tomatoes
1/2 cup elbow macaroni
1/2 tsp Italian herb seasoning
1/2 tsp garlic powder
pinch or more of black pepper

Place tomatoes & beans in a saucepan while mashing the beans using a potato masher, until about one third of the beans are mashed. Add all of the ingredients bringing to a boil; reduce to simmer & cook until the macaroni is done.
Serving Suggestion: Sprinkle with Parmesian Cheese. Also good with hot sauce added.

Serves 4. 1-1/2 cups per serving.
