  • Program was 3 times a week, 2 sets of 6-8 repetition in 8 core exercises
  • Amount of weight lifted correlated with increase in bone mineral density (BMD) at some sites

    Conclusion: There is a positive association between progressive strength training and BMD in postmenopausal women
