  • The protocol required training to momentary muscular failure
  • Strength improved significantly as did bone mineral density in the lumbar vertebrae

    Conclusion:
    Weight training can maintain or improve bone mineral density of the femoral neck and lumbar vertebrae in premenopausal women.
