  • Subjects performed high intensity weight training (squats) after high intensity endurance exercise
  • Fewer squats were performed after endurance exercise than when previously tested without prior endurance activity
  • Authors suggest waiting 30 minutes after endurance exercise to do strength training when both are performed in the same session

    Conclusion:
    High intensity endurance training can hamper performance in subsequent strength training
