Researchers found students who drink energy drinks with alcohol are more than twice as likely to ride with an intoxicated driver and to take advantage of another or be taken advantage of sexually
Energy drinks are not regulated by the FDA and have as much as 300 mg of caffeine per serving, whereas regulated food or beverages are limited to 65 mg/serving
Comment: If you drink mixed alcoholic drinks, don’t make an energy drink the mixer.
