Study released at Fashion Expo shows French men and women are getting both heavier and taller, with the average women size up a dress size sine 1970.
Approximately 12,000 people were studied using 3-D imaging showing that French woman today are just over 5 feet 3 inches tall and 137.6 pounds, compared to 5 feet 2 1/2 inches tall and 133.6 pounds in 1970.
Just as in the US, France has had a significant increase of fast food restaurants, while families spend less time together at the dinner and more time is spent eating in front of the TV
Conclusion:: As nations become more evolved into fast paced countries like the US, their health is further compromised by less active lifestyles and subsistence on pre-pared, less healthy, higher fat foods.
