143 PAD patients who walked at least 3 times each week were compared to 274 who walked less and were followed for 36 months.
Past reports supported exercise rehab programs and improved treadmill performances, but the benefits remained unclear.
Comment: Walking in supervised rehabilitation programs for patients with diseases are common to show health improvements and should be followed by people at home and on their own as well.
