Medicine Balls

Review by Joann Bally CSCS

A medicine ball can be the size of a volleyball but weigh 8 or more pounds. It’s heavier than it looks. Don’t confuse it with the ever-present inflatable fitness ball. It’s not new and never really made it to trendy. The medicine ball is generally used for athletic training or by fitness enthusiasts. Use it to develop upper body power, agility, and core strength.
