Fit Rhythms

Review by Joann Bally CSCS

You can use just about any exercise device in a class setting, but things like the BodyRev and Gymstick can also be used for individual training. Fit Rhythms, however, is a class. It combines drumming (background rhythms plus do it yourself) with dance. There are no steps or routines to learn, so I guess you do whatever you want. The instructor is called a “facilitator” who I suppose gets things rolling and makes sure everyone is involved. This class is appropriate for anyone who wants to do it. Some will think it’s the most fun ever, and others will hate it. You can’t please everybody. Still, if you work for a fitness facility or community recreation, or anywhere else classes can be held, this program may help you reach those people who dislike conventional exercise.
