Dr. David Horrobin started publishing the benefits of the essential fatty acid- Evening Primrose Oil in the early 1980's. Dro Horrobin discovered how primrose oil helped cardiovascular problems, weight loss, inflammatory disease such as arthritis, disorders of the immune system, skin, nail and hair conditions, and premenstrual syndrome (PMS).
Subsequent research has concluded the evening primrose oil helps burn excess calories instead of depositing them as fatty tissue, alleviates as much as 90% of PMS stress and discomfort and symptoms associated with menopause.
A Nobel Prize was awarded for prostaglandis research in 1982.
