As much as I would like to criticize Myoplex, I don't think that the reaction you are describing is from aspartame. It sounds more like a niacin reaction. Some people are sensitive to doses of niacin greater than 50mg. Check the label.
It is possible that your headaches may be in part caused by the aspartame in Myoplex; I don't the amount that it contains. Most MRPs, including SNS Fast Food, Fem Fit, and Lean Machine have very small amounts of aspartame. You'll notice that it is at the end of the list of ingredients; ingredients must be listed from highest to lowest quantities. If your MRP lists aspartame (or Nutrasweet) anywhere but the very end, it could contain enough of this compound to cause headaches in some individuals.
By the way, there is no dangerous chemicals in aspartame; it is simply a combination of two amino acids- aspartic acid and phenylalanine. I would venture to say that almost every case of aspartame sensitivity is really a reaction to the phenylalanine.
