How can I improve my vertical jump in a relatively short period of time?The new basketball season is nearing and I want some extra inches. I have been off for a couple of months but have been doing some weight training in the meantime. It seems like I used to be able to jump higher over a year ago but lost some of it since. If you could tell me how to get back into form as soon as I can, that would be great. Games start in mid-December.

6'4", 198lbs.
old vertical: 35/36"
present vertical: 32/33"
18 yrs old.
