Tribestan is just one brand of tribulus terrestris. SNS Andro/Trib contains this ingredient. Tribulus increases testosterone through a different pathway than andro, so it is not applicable to compare them head to head.
There is only one study that I know of that reported the kinds of findings you reported. It may be coincidental that this study was conducted by the university that owns the use patent on HMB, but I doubt it.
The least likely group of people to be able to benefit from andro use are college age men. "Coincidentally", that is the group that this study looked at. They took untrained young men, began them on a weight training program, and added andro.
Guess what happened; since during the first few weeks of going from no exercise to weight training will yield results with or without any other changes, there was no difference between the andro group and the control group. No big surprise there.
Since college age men have more than enough testosterone, introducing a testosterone-boosting supplement is bound to produce a surplus of testosterone, and an excess of testosterone is going to be converted into estrogens and DHT, guess what happened?
So, their reported results of no performance improvement, and increases in estrogens are not only totally expected, but was intentional.
No other report has repeated this finding.
