While eating healthy food and avoiding fat/sugar, I observed that 400-500 calories make me feel too full. By healthy food I mean, salad without dressing, whole grains, fruits, lean meat and skim milk. I try eating 6times a day.I need to eat at least 3000 calories if I am lifting weights for 1-2hrs, 4 times a week and intend to gain muscle weight. The promoters of weight gainer products even go on to advise consuming 6000 calories a day!!! Too bad that these weight gainers contain a lot of added sugars, which means I shouldn't take them.
MY QUESTION:
Should I eat until I am full if I intend to gain muscle weight?
Are their any calorie dense weight gainers in the market without added sugars? I don't mind artificial sweeteners. I am 25yrs old.
