My son is 15 years old as of Oct 31. He is 6'5" tall and 240#. Bone scan shows lots of growth potential yet to grow. Is there a Percentage or quideline for him to follow in terms of safe weight lifting and body building. A knowledgable fitness trainer said beware of too much to soon, or it could stunt his growth and hurt his joints. Is this true? His football coach wants him to begin a serious weight training, strength and mass building program..HElP! MOM
