I would work on good posture, if you don't already have it, and do some jogging/running. Also try flat leg raises, crunches, scorpions, jackknife's, etc. Aside from that, you should think more long-term. Any ab exercise works to an extent. It's just a matter of giving it time and sticking with it. Be sure to combine and vary exercises. Jackknife's (lay flat on your back, raise your toes and head off the ground 1 1/2 feet and hold for 20-30 seconds) are good to get your muscles working, and follow it with sit ups, et cetera.
