I'm 6'4, and weigh 227 pounds. I've been thin all my life, but I'm 27 now and my metabolism is obviuosly changing. I play bball two nights a week, but that hasn't stopped me from getting fairly sloppy. Not fat, just not firm anywhere. Plus, my love handles are getting ridiculous. So my question is this: 2 days ago I got a membership to a gym. Now, instead of eating at Wendy's every noon hour, I go to the gym, run a mile to a mile and a half, and do a few sets of upper body weight training. I eat a tuna fish sandwich or its equivalent at noon, instead of crap, and eat relatively healthy the rest of the day. Also, I still play ball every tuesday, thursday, and most saturdays for about 1-3 hours (not straight, I sit some games out). I know it's early, but am I going to see any results from this regimen? How soon? If it's too light, please tell me how, specifically, I can increase it so as to see about a 20pound weight reduction, and a firming in my whole body. :)
