Probably the reason that it doesn't work that well for women is because it doesn't work that well for men, either. The problem is that without carbohydrates your body starts to think that it is starving. This makes it slow your metabolism so that you can't lose fat. Then when you eat, all this food becomes fat. Sorry, but the only guarunteed way to lose weight is to eat 6 small meals a day. Try to lose 1-2 lbs a week.
