I'll leave all of the training advice to Chris, but if you want to maximize the ability of you pec muscles (which are high % fast twitch), you definitely should look into creatine supplementation.
Wait until you've been on your routine for a few weeks, and then start adding 5 grams per day of creatine to whatever you consume an hour or so before your workout.
There's no need to load, just go to the maintainance phase.
