I know this sounds hard to believe, but, I run accross this alot as a fitness trainer. It sounds Like you may be over training. To put it as simple as possible, when you over train your body will mobilize less fat and canabolize more muscle tissue. You don't need to weight train 5 days a week. If your trying to loose weight, try circuit training 3-4 days a week alternating days so your muscles have enough time for recovery and work in a 20-25 rep range.
