It really depends on what your goals are. Creatine can help some people build bigger muscles, get a little stronger, and work out at a higher intensity for a bit longer than normal. It can also be useful to certain athletes. Outside of that it is not particularly useful and it will not work as a substitute for a poor workout program and poor nutrition. As long as you drink enough water it poses no health threat.
