workout routine repeat everyday ok?.
Hey!
I heard that in order for you to actually gain more results as far as excercising goes, you need to mix up your routine
and not do the same things everyday. I have been working out since I was 3, basically because I'm a dancer
and model and keeping a healthy fit body is part of my job. When i go to the gym though i do the same things.
For Example: i do cardio then i do free weights and then i do machine weights for my legs like the leg press etc.... I have been doing that everyday and i have been happy
with the results-i feel like i'm not necessarily improving my body but im maintaining and hopefully improving it by building more muscle at least a little bit.
Is it right that you are supposed to mix up your routine or is having a routine that you repeat everyday ok?
I also heard that after you do intense cardio heart pumping excercise,
you are at more of a risk to have a heart attack. Is that true?
Thanks!
Hello;
It sounds like you are definitely a life-long fitness minded person...which is GREAT!
No matter what method(s) is used to improve fitness, most active routines provide opportunities to
not just maintain, but increase your fitness condition as long as both cardiovascular health
and physical strength & endurance are emphasized. Keep in mind that at the same time your fitness level
will also be limited by what you choose to do for conditioning, especially if that routine
is not complete which is the best reason to do a variety of activities. Here are some issues to consider:
In addition to what is provided below, feel free to read through a
fitness article specifically addressing
variety in exercise.
Issues to Consider:
Better Body Shape
Effective cross-training provides considerable results when routines are regular and consistent in intensity, which are
the key elements to improving and maintaining fitness levels. It is unrealistic to pursue very high levels at all times over
a lifetime without allowing less active periods in between. This is why most pursue physical fitness and achieve
often only moderate
results that last merely months or a couple of years.
Keeping Fitness Interesting
Be sure to spend your time doing activities you enjoy putting the time into.
Boredom from doing the same routines is the biggest reason people leave with a failed fitness experience. To make
fitness a lifelong routine may require fighting our instincts of being Slaves to Our Habits which may be as
simple as trying something new now and again. Not to suggest that the next fitness trend is the answer, but look for
activities that appear fun, perhaps friends or coworkers are doing & are interesting to you.
Improved Fitness Experience
Trying new activities & increasing the interaction with your surroundings increases the overall fitness
experience which always leads to meeting new people, going different places and other new experiences that would
otherwise would never be realized. Get up, get going and LIVE!
Concerning heart attacks and cardio workouts; It is true that heart attacks are more common after some type of
activity, because something has to initiate it. But don't let this stop you from trying something new. If you
have not seen a doctor, it is always recommended that you get a physical checkup before beginning an exercise
routine, especially if you have been inactive for some time.
That's it for this time,
