I just HATE my love handles.
my names Stephanie. Im skinny, i mean i have some fat but im fine with it. I just HATE my
love handles. There pretty big and i dont know how to loose them. I am willing to try anything
and everything. If anyone has any tips AT ALL it will be appreciated alot.
I am not sure if you are currently active or following an exercise regiment, but if you aren't this would be an ideal time to start.
The love handles that nobody seems to love are a result of body fat storage. Its gotta go somewhere and though each of us
are different, the butt, thighs, stomach and love handles usually take the brunt of it. If you are not obese and your body stores
fat there, it looks worse than it is.
Not to worry. My love handles are the last place for fat to leave also, but I learned how to keep it under control. Your emphasis should
not be diet, but cardiovascular exercises and activities (aerobic class, treadmill, stair climbing, biking, walking/jogging, swimming). If you currently are performing
these activities you want to increase the duration from 25% longer and 25% more often.
Intensity. Increasing the intensity of your workouts by pushing yourself to...basically sweat more!
Duration. Spend a little longer on the cardio machines or add an activity like walking, jogging, biking as a
means of traveling to the gym or at lunch.
Variety. Try as many different cardio machines and activities as available to stimulate your workouts.
Activities. If you are not currently weight training, you may want to include some exercises with weights to increase
lean mass...this helps you to burn more calories naturally.
