As the pet ownership trend continues to rise each year with more than 150 million pets in the US, estimates are that over $1 Billion is spent for controlling fleas & ticks alone. The pet industry as a whole makes over $21 Billion each year.
Being sure to clean up your pet’s excrement is second only to ensuring that your pet has all the necessary shots to prevent them from being a health threat to other humans & animals. Each year America's 73 million dogs produce around 10 million tons of dog poop. Cat litter from America's 90 million cats results in around 2 millions tons of used cat litter being sent to landfills each year. That plastic bag creates more issues when the degradable excrement is sealed inside a non-degradable bag most of the time. Pet feces
left on lawns, parks and on streets runs off into storm drains & waterways and contaminates them.
Flea control for both indoors and outdoors DO NOT need chemical-based systems since more eco-friendly & effective alternatives exist.
Pet Tip's:
1) Pick up after your pet
2) Use bio-degradable plastic bags to clean up after them.
3) Proper diet & exercise maintains a high level of health.
4) Non-toxic methods to control fleas & ticks.
5) Walk dogs around the block more often to limit driving to the dog park.
